Terms of Service
1. Who we are
klarpage is a website publishing service operated by Khaled Matar ("klarpage", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
klarpage lets you create, edit, and publish websites. The Free plan gives you a klarpage.site subdomain with a small klarpage badge. The Pro plan (€19/year) removes the badge, allows a custom domain, and unlocks contact forms, embeds, and private analytics. Feature lists on the pricing page are part of these Terms.
3. Your account
You need a Google account to publish. You are responsible for anything done through your account. Tell us right away at klarpagecom@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you publish through klarpage. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, cache, back up, and display your content solely to operate the service. You confirm you have the right to publish that content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use klarpage to publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, incites violence, promotes hatred, distributes malware, runs phishing or scams, or violates sanctions. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
6. Payments and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle handles VAT and sales tax where applicable. Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise. Pro is billed annually in advance at €19/year and renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your Pro features stay active until the end of the current period.
7. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your Pro purchase for any reason — see the Refund Policy. After the 14-day window we do not offer prorated refunds for the remainder of a billing period. Refund requests are handled by Paddle at paddle.net, or you can email klarpagecom@gmail.com and we will forward the request.
8. Custom domains
You are responsible for registering and renewing your own domain and pointing DNS to klarpage. If your Pro plan lapses, your custom domain will stop resolving to your klarpage site until it is renewed.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are inactive for more than 12 months on the Free plan. On termination, published sites are taken offline and personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee that klarpage will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features to improve the product.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as consumer statutory rights or gross negligence).
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that means you accept the update.
